He Wasn’t Just A Dog, He Was A Family Member

“Ok, don’t freak out”, said the pet sitter, “But Bella has gotten out.”

We were newlyweds on our honeymoon, when we got that call. I was already feeling guilty about leaving Bella with a petsitter. We usually take her on vacation, but it was our honeymoon, and we were traveling out of the country.
